RE: Dr. Phil Show Fund-Raiser!!
 Hi Guys!
I have a few parents signed up, but not quite at the 40 parent mark. Check your calendars and see if you can go see a taping of the Dr. Phil Show to help fund-raise for me!
On December 12, 2011...in an effort to fund-raise for the classroom and other necessities, I have secured 40 people to go see a taping of the Dr. Phil show at the CBS Studios in Burbank.  If I can get 40 parents to go see a taping, CBS will transport those parents by bus to the studio and back and pay 10 dollars per person for audience participation.  If you can make it to the taping, please let me know and I will secure your seat for the taping.
Please let me know if you can make it.  If you can get a friend or two or THREE on your behalf, please let me know!

If you can't, but would like to donate any amount to the classroom, I would appreciate it greatly!!

Thank you very much for helping in any way that you can!!
Keane Misawa
Here are the details:
Dear Keane Misawa,

I would like to thank you for choosing the Dr Phil Show.  Your group is currently confirmed for 40 guests on 12/12/2011.  Once your group has been confirmed, you will receive transportation to and from the CBS Studios for the taping.

The Dr. Phil Show tapes at Paramount Pictures Studio in Hollywood.  The entrance to the Dr. Phil Show studio is located by the large painting of the Blue Whale at 860 North Gower Street, Hollywood, CA 90038, between Melrose Avenue and Santa Monica Boulevard.  You should plan on arriving between 8:00 and 8:15 AM.  Early arrival is strongly recommended!  The show will last approximately until 1:00 PM. Admission is not guaranteed.  Additionally, you should allow yourself sufficient time to locate parking on the surrounding streets.

Please remember that all audience guests must be at least 16 years of age.  Also, please dress appropriately in dark solid colored business attire.  We ask that you avoid any busy patterns as well as white or beige clothing as it does not show up well on camera.
RE: Paper Donations / Dr. Phil Show Fundraiser!
  Good Evening Everyone!

There was a problem with my email program and some of the messages that were sent by many of you were garbled in terms of the message.  I want to thank many of you who have already donated paper to the classroom.  If you donated the paper to the front office, I will not see that paper and it will go to the general "fund" for paper.  Also, I will not be informed by the front office that you turned it in, unless instructed to do so.  However, I just want to thank you very much for all of the contributions of paper that you have sent.  It does help out tremendously!

I also wanted to get a "parent count" on the Dr. Phil Show.  If you are able to attend, please email me again and let me know if you can make it.  If you would like to bring a friend or friends, the better!!!  We need to fill a bus of 40 for this to work.  If we fill a bus of 40, CBS Studios will send a bus out to us and pick you up to see the taping. Once the taping is over, they will bus you back.  It's that simple.  I believe taping ends around 1:30pm.  PLEASE TRY TO MAKE IT!  This will be an ongoing fundraiser, please let me know if you can make it.

Thank you so much for supporting your child and Chino Hills High School!  We have been trying to get creative in our fundraising efforts and could really use your help!

Please email me directly with your response to :  keane_misawa@chino.k12.ca.us
